Zimbabwe Concludes Zone 6 International Refereeing Candidate Course

19 Candidate referees were attested today the 27th of October 2014 in Harare, Zimbabwe after concluding the Zone 6 hosted course with participants from Burkina Faso (3), Cameroon (1), Egypt (1), Lesotho (2), Mozambique (3), Rwanda, (1), Madagascar (1), Uganda (1), Zambia (1), Zimbabwe (5) .

Zimbabwe Volleyball Association President Fredreck Ndlovu, thanked the Zone 6, CAVB and FIVB for entrusting Zimbabwe with such an important assignment and pledged Zimbabwe’s readiness to take up any challenge the Zone may be tasked with and congratulated all participants for their effort and sacrifice to be at the course.

“The course was well organised given the short notice given to Zimbabwe to prepare for the course. I encourage the candidates to continue working hard as this is only the first step towards the famous grey badge” said Jean-Claude Baccus.

Guest of Honour Admire Masenda, ZOC President applauded the Zimbabwe Volleyball Association for hosting the course successfully and encouraged the participants to work hard to become international referees and bring Africa to the same level as other continents.
